John Williams, an American composer, was born in 1932 in Floral Park, New York. His career, now spanning over six decades, has allowed him to produce some of the most recognizable film scores, including music for Jaws, Star Wars, Superman, Indiana Jones, E.T., and Jurassic Park. In 2005, John William’s score for the original Star Wars (1977) was selected by the American Film Institute as the greatest American film score of all time.
