Want to get your students practicing more? Starting a practice incentive campaign can be a great way to get them going, and “Beethoven Bucks” can help.
With “Beethoven Bucks” all you need to do is set a goal, assign a dollar amount to each goal, and then decide what the prize will be once your student/child achieves the goal. Then start practicing!
Goal Sheet: Teachers and students can select goals – it’s a great way for getting students to take ownership of the challenge.
Goal Ideas List – 17 ideas are provided
One Sheet of 1’s
One Sheet of 5’s
One Sheet of 20’s
I’ve set a one-month goal in the past and it worked well. You could also try one-quarter or one-semester. Kids might also like to see a chart showing the progress of other students in you music lesson studio. The motivation to be #1 might be enough to spur them on to greatness!
